The 2026 Libertad silver ounce is a recent issue of Banxico's classic series.
Its official mintage has not yet been published by Banxico. Struck in pure .999 silver, it weighs exactly 31.103 grams (one troy ounce) and measures 40 millimeters in diameter. Reeded edge, with no further markings. Mint: Casa de Moneda de Mexico (Mo).
It belongs to the modern design (1996-present), featuring the stylized Winged Victory atop the pedestal of the Angel de la Independencia, with the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes in the background.
